Senior Consultant - CyberSecurity

• Job Title: Cloud WAF Location: Pune, India Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud WAF SME to lead our web application firewall (WAF) initiatives in cloud environments
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WAF solutions to protect our web applications from security threats

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Implementation: - Design, configure, and implement WAF solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Policy Management: - Develop and manage WAF policies, rules, and signatures to mitigate security threats

• Integration: - Integrate WAF solutions with other security tools and data sources

• Monitoring and Maintenance: - Monitor WAF systems for security breaches and vulnerabilities, and perform regular maintenance and updates

• Incident Response: - Respond to security incidents and perform forensic investigations related to WAF

• Collaboration: - Work with IT, cybersecurity, and development teams to support secure architectures and integrations

• Compliance: - Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards

• Documentation: - Create and maintain detailed documentation for WAF configurations, processes, and procedures
• Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with WAF solutions in cloud environments
• - Preferred certifications: Azure Security Engineer Associate
• Technical Skills: - Strong experience with WAF technologies (eg, AWS WAF, Azure WAF, Cloudflare, Akamai)
• - Proficiency in configuring and managing WAF solutions
• - Knowledge of web application security best practices
• - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their security features
• Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
