Roles and Responsibility
Job Requirements
- Manage and maintain accurate coding systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze medical records and assign appropriate codes using expertise in E/M, CCS, Surgery, COC, Multi-specialty Denials, CPC, Anesthesia, Medical Coding, and ED coding.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify coding discrepancies and ensure accurate claims processing.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance coding efficiency and quality.
- Provide training and support to junior coders on best practices and industry regulations.
- Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines, policies, and regulations to ensure compliance.
Job Requirements
- Strong knowledge of medical coding principles, including E/M, CCS, Surgery, COC, Multi-specialty Denials, CPC, Anesthesia, Medical Coding, and ED coding.
- Experience working with CRM/IT Enabled Services/BPO industry is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and FERPA.
- Strong understanding of healthcare management services, including billing and claims processing.
