Key Responsibilities

  • Design secure cloud architectures that integrate Security Command Center and Certificate Authority Service to protect automotive platforms and associated digital services in a scalable manner
  • Implement robust security monitoring configurations that use Security Command Center to detect misconfigurations and threats across multiple cloud projects supporting automotive workloads
  • Optimize alert policies and tuning in Security Command Center to minimize false positives while ensuring timely detection of genuine security incidents that affect connected vehicle and mobility solutions
  • Develop automated workflows for incident triage and response that leverage Security Command Center findings to streamline remediation activities for infrastructure and application teams
  • Configure and manage Certificate Authority Service to issue, manage, and rotate certificates used by automotive applications, application programming interfaces, and internal services to maintain strong cryptographic hygiene
  • Establish clear policies for certificate lifecycle management including issuance, renewal, revocation, and auditing to reduce operational risk and service disruption across cloud environments
  • Collaborate with development and site reliability teams to embed security by design practices into cloud native automotive platforms and to ensure secure configuration baselines
  • Create infrastructure as code templates to consistently provision secure cloud resources including network segmentation, identity controls, and logging required for regulated automotive domains
  • Develop monitoring dashboards and reports that communicate security posture trends and key risk indicators derived from Security Command Center and certificate-related metrics to technical stakeholders
  • Conduct regular security assessments of cloud environments supporting automotive platforms and document remediation plans that enhance resilience against emerging threats
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to peers regarding best practices for Security Command Center, Certificate Authority Service, and secure cloud patterns tailored for automotive industry requirements
  • Coordinate with compliance and governance teams to align cloud security controls with automotive cybersecurity regulations, industry standards, and internal audit expectations
  • Document operational runbooks, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides for Security Command Center and Certificate Authority Service to support consistent day-to-day operations in an office-based setting

Qualifications

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related discipline and bring six to eight years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering roles
  • Demonstrate strong practical experience administering and tuning Security Command Center for large-scale cloud environments, including rule configuration, asset coverage, and integration with ticketing tools
  • Show proven expertise working with Certificate Authority Service, including custom certificate templates, policy definition, and automation of issuance and rotation workflows for production services
  • Bring solid background in automotive industry domains such as connected vehicles, digital mobility platforms, or automotive manufacturing systems, with awareness of relevant security considerations
  • Exhibit advanced skills in infrastructure as code tooling, cloud networking, identity management, and logging solutions that support secure automotive workloads
  • Display familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and automotive-focused security standards and apply them pragmatically to cloud environments
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and document technical solutions in a clear, structured manner to support collaboration within a work-from-office model

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Professional Cloud Security Engineer or equivalent cloud security credential and an automotive cybersecurity course such as ISO based training.
