Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Provision and manage cloud resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or Bicep.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Perform cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, and workload optimization for enterprise applications.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, and services using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, and CloudWatch.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, IAM policies, encryption, network security, and compliance controls.
  • Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell scripting.
  • Manage networking components including VPC/VNet, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
  • Optimize cloud performance, scalability, reliability, and cost through continuous monitoring and capacity planning.
  • Perform incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, development, security, and infrastructure teams to support cloud-native application deployments.
  • Maintain technical documentation, cloud architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, or Systems Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, Bicep, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologies.
  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent Linux administration skills and scripting experience using Python, Bash, Shell, or PowerShell.
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, VPC/VNet, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers, SSL/TLS, and security best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, and CloudWatch.
  • Familiarity with databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and cloud storage services.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, CKA, CKAD, RHCE, or Terraform Associate are highly preferred
