Senior Cloud Data Engineer

We are in search of strong Senior Cloud(Google Tech Stack) Data Engineer(Experience 6-9 years) who is technically passionate, solution-focused, and able to contribute to design, development, test automation and hardening (security, stability, deployment) of our in-house-developed components.
 

As a Cloud Data Engineer you will:

Design and implement complex new functionality with a strong focus on reliability, performance, and large data sets.
Influence technology choices and architecture of newly built components and services.

• You must have hands-on programming experience and must be good with the use of Java and/or Python.
• Must be very good with SQL, able to write complex queries, stored procedures.
• Understanding and hands-on experience on BigQuery, Looker/DBT.
• Hands-on experience on any/all of the extensive Google cloud stack - Google Cloud Run, Google Composer/Apache Airflow, Google Cloud Storage(Cloud Buckets), Google Secret Manager, Google Dataflow(Apache beam pipelines), Apache Kafka, Confluent, Google Pub-Sub messaging, Google Cloud Registry., Azure Container Registry.
• Should be aware of ETL development.
• Must be good with database and should be able to do data analysis.
• Familiarity & hands-on experience with git, CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Understanding & experience of GCP, ETL integration with GCP or Azure/AWS or other cloud provider.
• Good to have Google VPC & Networking
• Google IAM and Security
• Terraform

This role requires engineers to interpret business requirements with the Product Owner and Feature Engineer during the refinement sessions, break down stories into the tasks, estimate the Story Points to develop, test and harden a feature with your colleagues, and deliver and support it on the production environment to our global users.
