As a Senior Business Analyst , you will act as a key partner to stakeholders and engineering teams, driving complex initiatives, influencing decisions, and ensuring delivery of high-impact solutions.

What You ll Be Doing

Lead end-to-end business analysis activities across complex, cross-functional projects
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, shaping requirements and influencing strategic decisions
Analyze business processes, systems, and data flows to identify optimization and transformation opportunities
Drive requirements elicitation through workshops, stakeholder interviews, and collaborative sessions
Perform deep root cause analysis and recommend scalable, long-term solutions
Translate business needs into clear, structured, and actionable requirements (user stories, functional specs, process flows)
Define and model data structures, integrations, and system interactions aligned with business goals
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, aligning business and technical teams on scope, priorities, and solutions
Support and contribute to solution design , working closely with architects and development teams
Ensure requirements quality through validation, refinement, and continuous stakeholder feedback
Contribute to business case development and support decision-making with data-driven insights
Promote and implement best practices in business analysis , improving processes, standards, and documentation
Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and help teams maintain structure, clarity, and delivery focus

What We re Looking For

5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Strong understanding of software development concepts, architecture, and system integrations
Deep knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar
Strong domain knowledge in insurance , preferably Property Casualty within US/UK markets
Ability to lead analysis efforts independently, manage competing priorities, and drive initiatives end-to-end
Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and define structured solutions
Proven experience in mentoring junior analysts and contributing to best practices within the BA community
Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, process modeling, and solution design
Proactive, ownership-driven, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
