Must have skills:
Overall/Relevant 5+ years
Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable backup and recovery solutions across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
5+ years of hands-on experience Manage and optimize Data Protection Technologies like Cohesity, Rubrick or Commvault orDell Data Domain.
At least 3 years in designing and implementing enterprise class backup solutions for a large company.
Configuring and managing backup solution for Microsoft 365.
Automate backup workflows and reporting using scripting (Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Define backup policies, retention schedules, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
Monitor backup environments, perform capacity planning, and manage upgrades/patching of backup infrastructure.
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to develop and test business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) plans.
Serve as a technical advisor in infrastructure projects, helping to integrate backup best practices into new deployments.
Participate in audit support and provide documentation for compliance initiatives.
