Senior Backend Engineer - API Development and Integration

Mandatory Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience building production backend services using Node.js and TypeScript with NestJS, Express, or Fastify.
• Integrations Experience: Direct experience integrating third-party APIs (Payment gateways, CRM platforms, Unified APIs).
• Multi-Tenant SaaS: Proven experience with tenant isolation strategies (shared, siloed, hybrid) and noisy-neighbor mitigation.
• Cloud & Containers: Strong production experience with AWS (or Azure/GCP) using Docker, AWS ECS (Fargate/EC2), and ALB integration.
• Databases: Hands-on experience with both RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) data modeling, partitioning, and indexing.
• Spec-Driven & AI SDLC: Hands-on experience with contract-first development (OpenAPI / JSON Schema) and applied AI tools across coding and testing workflows.
• Design Principles: Solid foundation in SOLID principles, OOP, and microservice design patterns.
• API Security & Version Control: Expertise in OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, OWASP API Top 10, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
