Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience in Node.js, AWS Cloud Services, MySQL, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications while leading backend development initiatives.

This role requires strong technical expertise in backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, application security, and DevOps practices. The candidate should be capable of mentoring junior developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of production-ready backend solutions.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS.
• Configure and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage GitHub repositories, pull requests, branching strategies, and release workflows.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Maintain backend documentation and engineering standards.
• Ensure secure coding practices following OWASP guidelines.

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, MySQL, AWS, and DevOps.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, GitHub, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems.
