Job Description
The COG Technology team in Gurugram is searching for an enthusiastic and talented full stack Python-React developer with a growing focus on AI-assisted engineering to join the Fixed Income and Currencies Technology Team within the Commodities and Global Markets Group. The team is primarily in charge of maintaining and enhancing a covenant monitoring application used by different businesses and divisions across the bank.
In addition to core engineering responsibilities, the role will focus on leveraging modern AI tools and automation techniques to improve how engineering work is designed, built, and delivered - driving efficiency, reliability, and continuous improvement across the platform.
What role will you play
As a key member of the team, you will contribute to core projects, develop new modules, enhance processes, and ensure application quality and stability. You will apply AI-assisted development to improve engineering practices, build automation frameworks, and strengthen system reliability.
Working closely with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, QA, and engineering team, you will turn requirements into scalable solutions and enhance delivery through modern, iterative approaches. You will also collaborate with business units to deliver impactful results while growing in an innovative, team-focused environment.
What you offer
- 2 4 years of software engineering experience with strong Agile development knowledge
- Strong experience in Python, React, and SQL for building modern web applications
- Hands-on use of AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar) in development workflows
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to automate testing, improve system reliability, and support production environments
- Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable solutions
