Senior Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Architect with strong expertise in Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, and Java-based Enterprise Platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining architecture strategy, designing scalable and resilient enterprise solutions, and leading modernization initiatives across cloud-native platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java, Microservices, API-led architectures, cloud technologies, and enterprise integration patterns while driving governance, engineering excellence, and business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Architecture & Design

  • Strong hands-on experience in enterprise application architecture using Java and Spring Boot
  • Expertise in designing microservices-based, API-first, and domain-driven architectures
  • Strong understanding of React-based frontend architecture and frontend-backend integration patterns
  • Experience in integrating, extending, and architecting solutions around Veeva Vault and enterprise platforms
  • Define, implement, and enforce architecture standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices

• Integration, APIs & Data Engineering

  • Expertise in event-driven architecture, Pub/Sub models, asynchronous processing, and real-time systems
  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs, JSON payloads, API contracts, and service orchestration
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, SQL query design, and database performance optimization
  • Design and govern resilient, scalable integration patterns and data flow mechanisms

• Code Quality, Performance & Scalability

  • Ensure high standards for code quality, security, scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Architect high-performance, fault-tolerant, and distributed systems
  • Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, observability, logging, and monitoring frameworks
  • Lead performance engineering, system optimization, and scalability initiatives.

• Cloud, Security & Platform Strategy

  • Strong experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and cloud-native architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of API security (OAuth2, JWT), identity management, and secure service communication
  • Evaluate and recommend modern frameworks, cloud services, and reusable solution components
  • Experience designing distributed, resilient, and scalable cloud-based systems.

Requirements

• Architecture Governance & Documentation

  • Lead and own architecture reviews (HLD, LLD) and technical design governance
  • Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, system diagrams, and decision logs
  • Define and enforce integration standards, governance frameworks, and reusable assets

• Additional Architectural Responsibilities

  • Define and own end-to-end solution architecture across Java, React, .NET, and Veeva Vault ecosystems
  • Lead architecture discussions, design reviews.
