Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Experience: 5+ years of professional Android development experience, with a strong portfolio of native apps.
- Language & UI: Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and experience building declarative UIs with Jetpack Compose.
- IoT & Wireless: Proven experience working with the Android Bluetooth / BLE stack (BluetoothGatt, bonding, scanning filters, notification/indication handling).
- Concurrency: Deep understanding of Kotlin Coroutines and Asynchronous Flow for handling real-world data streams.
- Architecture: Strong command of Android Jetpack libraries (ViewModel, Room, Navigation, WorkManager, Hilt/Dagger).
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience with custom Wi-Fi provisioning or Network Capabilities APIs.
- Familiarity with IoT messaging protocols like MQTT, CoAP, or Protocol Buffers (Protobuf).
- Basic understanding of firmware/embedded systems or working with tools like Arduino/Raspberry Pi.
- Experience publishing and managing apps in the Google Play Store that require background execution or foreground services for hardware connectivity.
