Job description

Mandatory Skills:

• Camera Handling (including ML / Face Recognition)
• Location Updates (Foreground & Background)
• Kotlin and Java.
• Firebase.
• Async/Await and concurrency handling.
• Offline data handling
• Strong experience in REST API integration
• Good understanding of mobile architecture (MVC / MVVM / Clean Architecture)
• Git (version control)

Role & responsibilities:

1. Strong expertise in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
2. Understanding of Android lifecycle and app performance optimization.
3. Understanding of architecture patterns like MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
4. Good experience in code reviews and following clean coding standards.
5. Experience with version control systems like Git.
6. Strong knowledge of REST API integration using Retrofit / networking libraries.
7. Experience with Firebase (Realtime DB, Crashlytics) and local databases (Room / SQLite).
8. Experience in handling real-time location updates.
9. Good understanding of location handling in both foreground and background.
10. Experience in background task handling using WorkManager.
11. Good experience with WorkManager and silent notifications (push/background triggers).
12. Good experience in camera handling, including ML-based features and face recognition.
13. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to guide team members.
14. Ability to work with cross-functional teams (backend, QA, product).
15. Good communication skills for technical and functional discussions.
16. Knowledge of React Native or other cross-platform frameworks is an added advantage.
