Purpose of Role

Looking for skilled, self-motivated individuals who can work independently to deliver high-quality products in short timeframes.

Preferred Skills

Strong Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, different versions of Android, deal with different screen sizes
Familiarity with JSON, XML, JavaScript, interfacing apps with server-side RESTful APIs and sockets
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
Experience with threading, performance optimization and benchmarking
Ability to design applications around natural user interfaces
Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers
Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
Understanding of Google s Android design principles and interface guidelines
Experience of working with code repositories, versioning and continuous integration
Strong analytical skills and work with logically-backed reasoning
Experience with Agile (XP and Scrum) or Lean development

Responsibilities:

Develop working, readable, testable, scalable, maintainable, and quality source code
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design and release new features
Set expectations and establish priorities throughout the development life cycle
Provide technical and domain expertise that helps drive decision making
Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, Identify and fix bottlenecks
Should be able to work independently

Qualification and Education Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering EEE / EC / IS / CS or MCA
