Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a model/UI developer. The ideal candidate should have advanced programming skills in R and R Shiny, with a background in the finance industry and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of structured finance would be a plus. In the event that we are unable to find suitable candidates with R programming expertise, experience in application development using Python, C++ or Java in the same order of preference will also be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced programming skills in R to develop and implement credit rating models and algorithms
- Leverage R shiny skills to build intuitive and user friendly UI
- Collaborate with analytical teams to correctly translate criteria documents and design and implement models
- Communicate complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI design and financial programming
Requirements:
- Advanced programming skills in R and R Shiny, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and UI/UX design
- Background in the finance industry, with knowledge of financial markets and instruments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience with structured finance is preferred, but not required
- Experience in application development using Python, Java, or C++ if not proficient in R/ R Shiny
