Senior Analyst - Business Systems Analysis

Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary interface between Technology and specific business areas; identifies and analyzes business needs; conducts requirements gathering; defines scope and objectives.
• Makes recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
• Specializes in the evaluation of business problems and potential for automated solutions.
• Assists in identifying, evaluating and specification development for systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet requirements.
• Executes unit, integration and acceptance testing for systems that meet business needs.
• Analyzes business reporting, systems data, and relevant performance data to provide business and IT leaders insights to support decision making.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements, systems integration, and technology solutions that address business partners needs.
• Managing products, systems and/or projects/processes, and working independently with limited supervision.
• Facing IT function related problems that are sometimes difficult and moderately complex.
• Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.

Qualifications

• University Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or equivalent experience.

• Preferred: Business/insurance acumen
