Role & responsibilities
The candidate will be part of the Fiscal Support management team supporting the Semiconductor business. The role is responsible for fiscal support and subsidy-related activities, including detailed financial analysis, reconciliation of claims with financial statements, preparation of supporting schedules and documentation, audit co-ordination, compliance validation, and stakeholder coordination.
The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, auditors and government agencies to ensure accurate claim submissions and compliance with program requirements.
Fiscal Support Claims Management & Compliance
- Support the preparation, review, and submission of fiscal support and subsidy claims in accordance with government regulations, program guidelines, and internal policies.
- Verify the eligibility, completeness, and accuracy of supporting documentation and claim calculations.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
- Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, and auditors to support claim submissions, reviews, and assessments.
Financial Analysis, Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform detailed reconciliation of claims with audited financial statements, general ledger balances, and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial and operational data to validate expenditures, investments, revenues, employment metrics, and other claim-related information.
- Investigate and resolve variances between claim submissions, financial records, statutory reports, and supporting documentation.
- Support periodic reporting, claim tracking, recovery monitoring, and management updates on fiscal support programs.
Stakeholder Management & Process Improvement
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Tax, Operations, Procurement and other cross-functional teams
- Support internal and external audits with reconciliations and supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, improve documentation standards, and reduce turnaround time
- Assist in standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across fiscal support activities.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis and account reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare detailed financial schedules, supporting analyses, and audit documentation.
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, statutory financial statements, and financial controls.
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- Experience in SAP and financial reporting systems.
