Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager - Finance and Accounts to lead our finance function in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA with over 4 years of progressive experience in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive process improvements, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to the overall growth and financial stability of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management & Reporting:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and compliant financial reporting in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the budgeting process, including the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and analyze variances to provide actionable insights.
- Accounting Operations:
- Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies.
- Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee reconciliations, ledger management, and the implementation of best practices in financial operations.
- Financial Analysis & Strategic Planning:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data, market trends, and business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial planning and analysis initiatives.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing robust control measures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, tax regulations, and legislative changes.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and support.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategies that enhance financial performance and support overall business goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a dynamic business environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and statutory regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Tally systems.
