Senior Accountant / Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to manage and oversee the financial operations of our real estate business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting, specifically within the real estate, construction, or property management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and finalization of financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
• Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and perform Bank Reconciliations.
• Monitor property-related financials such as leases, rentals, and project budgets.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and real estate financial regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for internal and statutory audits.
• Analyze project costs, profitability, and returns on investment (ROI).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and financial reporting standards.
• Expertise in Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or any real estate ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Good communication and coordination skills for interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of real estate accounting standards and project-based accounting.

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com).
• Professional qualifications such as CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
• Certifications in Tally ERP, SAP, or Advanced Excel will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Prior experience in the real estate, construction, or property management industry.
• Proven experience in handling GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and project financial analysis.
