Job Summary:

We are looking for a Semantic Engineer with strong experience in Knowledge Graphs, Ontology Development, and Semantic Web technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building semantic models, RDF-based solutions, and graph data platforms to support enterprise data integration and intelligent search use cases.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Knowledge Graph, Ontology, Taxonomy & Semantic Data Modeling
• Hands-on experience with RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL, and SHACL
• Experience with ontology tools like Protg
• Experience with graph databases / triple stores:
• GraphDB
• Apache Jena Fuseki
• Stardog
• Neo4j
• AWS Neptune
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python
• Experience developing REST APIs and backend services
• Knowledge of semantic reasoning, data validation, and RDF data transformation
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, unit testing, and debugging

Good to Have:

• Experience with JSON-LD, Turtle, RDF/XML, SKOS
• Knowledge of semantic search, AI/ML, or intelligent assistants using Knowledge Graphs
• Exposure to cloud-based graph solutions (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop Knowledge Graphs, ontologies, and semantic models
• Build RDF-based data solutions and optimize SPARQL queries
• Implement semantic validation using SHACL
• Develop data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data
• Collaborate with business and engineering teams to create scalable semantic solutions
