Job Description

Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Security Manager to lead physical security operations across key client locations in South India. The role requires a proven leader with strong operational acumen, crisis management skills, and the ability to align security programs with business continuity objectives. The successful candidate must demonstrate fluent communication skills, leadership presence, and a strategic mindset to manage high-profile client environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Security Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive security policies and protocols.
  • Conduct risk assessments and introduce preventive measures to strengthen security posture.
  • Drive alignment between client requirements and G4S service delivery standards.
2. Operational Management
  • Supervise end-to-end security operations including manned guarding, access control, CCTV monitoring, and visitor management.
  • Manage deployments, rosters, and resource optimization to ensure 24/7 readiness.
  • Conduct security audits, surprise checks, and vulnerability assessments.
3. Incident & Crisis Management
  • Act as the single point of contact for all security incidents.
  • Lead investigations into theft, fraud, or misconduct, and submit detailed reports with CAPAs.
  • Design and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation, fire safety, and lockdown protocols.
4. Team Leadership & Training
  • Lead and mentor supervisors, officers, and guards.
  • Conduct daily briefings, refresher training, and emergency drills.
  • Foster a culture of discipline, vigilance, and service excellence.
5. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Serve as the liaison between client stakeholders, G4S leadership, and law enforcement.
  • Manage vendor relationships (AMC partners, subcontractors) and ensure SLA compliance.
  • Support financial processes including billing validation, budget optimization, and compliance reporting.
6. Compliance & Administration
  • Ensure adherence to PSARA, labor laws, ISO, EHS, and client-specific compliance requirements.
  • Maintain MIS dashboards, incident logs, access records, and audit documentation.
  • Track and report KPIs including manpower deployment, incident response, and SLA adherence.
Candidate Profile
Education
  • Graduate (mandatory).
  • Postgraduate / Diploma in Security Management preferred.
  • Certifications such as CPP, PSP, NEBOSH, or ISO Lead Auditor are desirable.
Experience
  • 8 12 years of progressive experience in corporate or industrial security management.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multi-location operations.
  • Strong exposure to ESS (Electronic Security Systems) and incident/crisis handling.
Skills & Competencies
  • Fluent spoken and written English (non-negotiable).
  • Fluency in the local language of the duty location (non-negotiable).
  • Hindi is desirable but not compulsory.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarms, and emergency communication systems.
  • High integrity, discipline, and ability to make decisions under pressure.
