Security Head

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Security Head to lead and manage the complete security operations of our integrated manufacturing complex at Lalru. The role requires ensuring the safety and security of company assets, employees, visitors, inventory, and infrastructure while implementing modern security systems and best practices.

The ideal candidate should be an ex-defence officer (Major/Captain or equivalent), retired police officer, or an experienced security professional from a large manufacturing organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the entire security function across all plants and facilities.
• Ensure 247 security coverage through proper deployment of security personnel.
• Protect company assets, inventory, buildings, machinery, and utilities.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all security operations.
• Manage entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles.
• Monitor movement of materials through proper gate pass systems and prevent pilferage.
• Manage CCTV surveillance, access control systems, RFID, biometric attendance, and visitor management systems.
• Investigate security incidents, thefts, accidents, and disciplinary matters and submit reports.
• Coordinate fire safety, emergency response, and mock drills.
• Manage outsourced security agencies and ensure discipline and deployment.
• Coordinate with police, fire department, and district administration.
• Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments.
• Train employees and contractors on security awareness.

• Zero major security breaches.
• Reduction in pilferage and material losses.
• CCTV uptime above 99%.
• Timely closure of investigations.
• Compliance with security SOPs and audits.

Experience

• 1520 years of industrial security experience.
• Preference for retired Army (Major/Captain), Police, CISF/CRPF/BSF officers, or Security Heads from large manufacturing organizations.
