Security Engineer , Application Security

You at Quickbase:

• You will be a contributing member of the Security Compliance team

• You will assist the Senior Security Engineer to conduct secure code analysis.

• You will analyze application security vulnerabilities to determine their severity and impact specific to Quickbase, and their likely remediation path.

• You will work with Site Reliability and multiple Application Development teams to track vulnerabilities to remediation.

• You will assist in building security into the Software Development Lifecycle at Quickbase, helping to automate procedures wherever possible.

• You are very detail oriented in your work.

• You are inquisitive, passionate about your field of study, and enjoy learning.

Your Background:

• You have application development and security experience in academic or corporate settings.

• You have a working knowledge of Windows Linux

• You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• You have an associates, BA, or BS degree in a related field or can demonstrate non-traditional experiences leading to a similar educational outcome.

• Professional or personal experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Software development experience (Python, Java, C#, C++, Go, Javascript)

• Experience developing script-based automation.
