Secondary English Teacher

Role & responsibilities

• Teach English to Secondary school students in accordance with the Orchids curriculum.
• Deliver engaging, interactive, and student-centered lessons aligned with pre-defined lesson plans and the Orchids teaching methodology.
• Assess student learning through assignments, projects, classwork, and examinations.
• Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and effective communication.
• Maintain accurate academic records and update student performance on the school's online portal.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress, performance, and areas of improvement.
• Participate in faculty meetings, parent-teacher meetings, training programs, and school events.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance student learning outcomes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree in English or a relevant discipline.
• Mandatory: B.Ed.
• M.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience teaching English at the Secondary level.
• Experience in a CBSE school will be an added advantage.
• Female candidates only.
