About Position:
We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong expertise in Playwright, JavaScript, TypeScript, API Testing, End-to-End (E2E) Testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable test automation frameworks, ensuring software quality through robust testing practices, and collaborating closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams throughout the SDLC.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Create reliable and reusable automated test scripts for web applications.
- Develop and execute End-to-End (E2E), functional, integration, regression, and API test cases.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a quality perspective.
- Define test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria.
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure high test coverage across UI, API, and backend services.
- Validate REST APIs using automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Design and execute API test cases for functional, integration, and performance validation.
- Verify data integrity, authentication, authorization, and error handling scenarios.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners during sprint cycles.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospective meetings.
- Advocate Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Shift-Left testing practices.
- Enhance automation framework scalability, maintainability, and execution efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging automation tools, testing methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to quality engineering standards.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
