Job Description
Responsibilities:
Test automation for new functionality, regression suites, and other functional test on a Web backend project
Maintaining and adding new functionality to automated testing framework.
Integrating automated testing into CI process
Test data preparation
Making conclusion and reporting about stability of the product under test
Close collaboration with POs, BAs, and developers
Essential skills: - 3+ years of professional experience in REST API Testing - 3+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of Java REST servers using Rest Assured and supportive frameworks - Solid skills in Java and OOP - Good Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or similar) - Experience with continuous integration processes and tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Teamcity, or similar). - Experience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN and others) - Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types - Understanding of Agile/Scrum - Master's or Bachelors degree in Computer science or relevant - Good English skills Upper-Intermediate and above
Would be a good plus: - Experience with Kotlin - Practical Experience with BDD - Experience with implementation of automated testing for project and system - Experience with AWS services (S3, SQS, etc.) - Hands-on experience with AI tools (Amazon Q, Kiro, GitHub Copilot, or similar) and MCP services
