QA Automation Engineer (Java, Playwright, Selenium) 3 to 5 Years Experience
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in test automation using Java, Playwright, and Selenium. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Playwright, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks.
- Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on quality metrics.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve automation coverage, framework stability, and testing processes.
Required Skills
- 35 years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit.
- Good understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and automation design patterns.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Rest Assured or Postman.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
- Exposure to performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized test execution.
- Experience working with cloud testing platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
