Developing Ruby/RoR based backend applications
Delivering well written REST APIs: API Definitions, end-to-end service design and implementation
Writing good quality, modular, reusable, performant, well documented, unit-tested code

Mandatory Skills

Must be very well versed with application design, development, deployment/production and post-deployment monitoring processes
Should be very strong in OOPS concepts, data structures and algorithms
Deep knowledge of Ruby on Rails (RoR) practices and commonly used modules; deep understanding of RoR internals like databases, API, caching, proxies, web services, performance, and scalability.
Language/Framework Skills Required: Ruby, Rails, Javascript
Excellent MySQL skills, knows SQL in detail
Should be able to design & develop applications modules/features.
Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum framework Able to work well with business teams and understand business processes.

Optional Skills

Educational Qualifications and Experience

B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech in Computer science/Information science/Information Technology
4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Ruby & Rails framework
