Job Description
The role of Scrum Master is an important one for Ovyo, for a strategically placed Cloud based video migration project. We require someone with a background in the video industry, that can join us initially as a short-term contractor (with the view of likely extension) and oversee 3 scrum development teams. A strong background in an Agile environment is key to this role, with a qualification as an Agile Practitioner required. Responsibilities:
Plan, manage and deliver project requirements for up to three Scrum teams
Deliver as needed from the backlog
Arrange Scrum events, demos etc. and liaise with the wider business as needed
Anticipate, manage, triage & resolve issues & risks
Report on progress, status, KPIs etc.
Mentor and support the team to follow defined methodology
Requirements:
At least 4-6 years experience within the software industry, ideally within Agile Software development
At least 3 years current experience working as Scrum Master for development teams in Azure (overseeing multiple scrum teams)
Degree (or similar) in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
Additional qualifications as an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Scrum Master, PRINCE2 or Project Management Professional (PMP), plus a certification in Azure
A background within the Video industry (OTT)
Excellent communication skills with strong senior stakeholder management experience
Available to work EU (CET) hours
