Scrum Master (Immediate Joiner)

Role & responsibilities

• Will be accountable for meeting Sprint objectives along with scrum team
• Ensure meeting of sprint commitment
• Resolve impediments and support team dynamics to enhance productivity
• Collaborate with development teams to estimate and plan project deliverables
• Support in maintaining the Product Backlog, defining User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
• Forecast iteration outcomes based on historical data and team capacity
• Maintain a healthy product backlog in coordination with Product Owners
• Facilitate estimation, backlog refinement and all planning ceremonies
• Ensure that DOR, DOD, Acceptance criteria is available and adhered to
• Ensure MoSCoW adherence of Sprint Backlog at the Sprint level
• Will be responsible for the correct implementation of the Agile Process
• Facilitate technical assistance to the team and enables clear communication amongst the team members
• Facilitate all the Agile Ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Grooming, Demo, retrospection) and ensure correct adoption
• Ensure updating of all Scrum artifacts
• Help team attain stable velocity
• Train team on the proper adoption of Agile processes (Scrum / XP / Kanban)
• Record and own the retrospection actions

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Proficient in agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe Agile
• Basic understanding of software development processes
• Hands-on experience with agile tools such as Jira
• Familiarity with agile metrics, backlog management, and user story creation
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and resolve team challenges
• Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
