We are seeking an experienced SCM Manager to join our team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with a strong background in the telecom industry for our corporate office in Mohali
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Passive operations & maintenance business team, developing & managing a fleet of partners/ Vendors in multiple circles and ensuring timely delivery of projects with profitability, having good knowledge of commercial contracting and agreements This role requires a strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the telecom industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Should have deep knowledge of telecom industry, Passive O&M domain including OFC,
- Should possess good knowledge of Passive Equipment's installed at telecom sites/ Testing & measuring equipment's
- Ability to do costing of projects.
- Should have managed (directly/ indirectly) fleet of vehicles
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve company goals
- Manage and nurture vendor relationships to ensure on time delivery with quality, V-sat and retention
- Analyze market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Negotiate commercials & other terms & conditions along with preparing of agreements/ contracts.
- Monitor and report on the performance of commercial initiatives
- Lead and mentor a team 3-4 commercial professionals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in parent branch of Engineering or Technology
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a commercial role within the telecom industry
- Proven track record of successful project management and vendor relationship management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
