Position description:

Scientific Officer-Immunology (QC)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sample receipt from Production/QA, assigning QC No. and distribution to different laboratories.
• Potency Testing of bOPV ARM, Final Bulk and Finished Product.
• Tissue Culture based Potency Assay for Vaccines.
• Revival, Cryopreservation and Maintenance of Cell Lines ? Hep 2C and Vero.
• Preparation of Cell Culture Media.
• pH Test and Specific Gravity Test for (bOPV) , In-Process, Final Bulk and Final Lot Samples of bOPV and Dengue vaccine.
• Seal Integrity Test for Finished Product (bOPV) and Validation Samples.
• Testing of Validation Samples for immunological parameters as per Validation protocols.
• Maintenance of Stock for Lab Consumables.
• Daily monitoring of Lab Equipment in Cell Culture Lab.
• Inventory of Refrigerator, Cold Room and Deep Freezers in Cell Culture Lab.
• Initiation of change control or deviation/OOS if any.
• Stability samples testing of bOPV and Dengue vaccine.
• Calibration and Trending of Reference Standard.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Calibration of Equipment (Analytical Balance, Micropipette and pH Meter).
• Analytical assay validation.
