Saudi Binladin Group (SBG) was a multinational construction conglomerate headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was founded in 1931 by Mohammed bin Laden. SBG was involved in numerous major construction projects in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, including infrastructure, commercial, and residential developments. The company was known for its work on religious sites, such as the expansion of the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Medina. Due to financial difficulties and restructuring efforts following the 2015 Mecca crane collapse and other challenges, the company's operations and structure have changed significantly. The Saudi government took a controlling stake in the company, and its name was changed to Binladin International Holding Company (BIH).
