Responsibilities

SAS Development Programming: Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs using Base SAS, SAS Macro, and SAS SQL. Write efficient code for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Develop reusable SAS macros for automation.
Data Management ETL: Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading (ETL). Work with large datasets from multiple sources. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
Reporting Analytics: Generate reports using SAS procedures (PROC SQL, PROC REPORT, PROC TABULATE, etc.). Build dashboards and analytical reports. Support business teams with data insights and analysis.
Statistical Analysis (if required): Perform statistical modeling and analysis using SAS. Work with techniques like: Regression analysis, Forecasting, Data mining.
Performance Optimization: Optimize SAS programs for better performance. Debug and troubleshoot issues in SAS jobs. Handle large-scale data processing efficiently.
Collaboration: Work with data analysts, business teams, and IT stakeholders. Translate business requirements into technical solutions. Support UAT, testing, and deployment.

Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of: Data manipulation and transformation ETL processes Good understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience with large datasets
Database Skills
Experience working with: Oracle SQL Server Teradata (or similar)
Strong SQL skills
Tools Platforms
SAS Enterprise Guide / SAS Studio
Experience with UNIX/Linux environments (preferred)
Version control (Git optional)
