SAP Vehicle Management system - VMS Consultant

Role Details

• Position: Senior SAP VMS Consultant

• Experience Required: 8 to 12 years

• Employment Type: Contract to Hire (1-year fixed-term with potential renewal)

• Locations: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon (Across PAN India)

• Industry Context: Automotive / IS-Auto (Industry Solution Automotive)

Key Responsibilities

• Design VMS Architecture: Configure vehicle models, action matrices, and vehicle statuses in SAP IS-Auto.

• Manage Fleet Processes: Set up complex fleet sales, quantity contracts, and dealer release orders.

• Optimize Pricing Procedures: Build complex condition types for factory concessions, fleet discounts, and rebates.

• End-to-End SD Mapping: Handle standard SD areas like Order-to-Cash (OTC), billing, and partner determination.

• Cross-Module Integration: Drive seamless integration between VMS, MM (Procurement), FI-CO (Finance), and PP (Production).

• Interface Management: Oversee EDI, IDocs, and API integrations with external dealer management systems (DMS).

• Technical Delivery: Guide ABAP developers by authoring clear, detailed Functional Specifications (FSDs).

Candidate Profile Must-Have Skills

• Minimum 8 years of core SAP SD experience.

• At least 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SAP VMS (IS-Auto), including configuring the Action Matrix, Vehicle Categories, and Qualifier Configurations.

• Participation in at least 2 end-to-end lifecycles in the automotive domain (S/4HANA preferred).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Certification in SAP S/4HANA Sales or IS-Automotive.

• Variant Configuration experience.

• Exposure to SAP DP (Dealer Portal) or SAP Commerce Cloud for Automotive.
