SAP TM Functional Consultant

Required Functional Expertise

• Strong knowledge of SAP TM business processes across transportation planning and execution.
• Experience in freight unit building, transportation cockpit/planning, freight order lifecycle, tendering, subcontracting, rate/charge management, and freight settlement.
• Understanding of transportation scenarios across road, ocean, air, parcel, and intermodal environments is preferred.
• Experience with manual and optimizer-based planning, carrier collaboration, and execution monitoring.
• Knowledge of transportation master data structures and organizational design in SAP TM.
• Familiarity with embedded TM in S/4HANA and/or decentralized TM landscapes.
• Strong understanding of integration touchpoints with logistics and finance processes.
• Ability to identify when to use SAP standard functionality versus enhancement/custom design.
