SAP Security & GRC Consultant (6-12 yrs)

Role: Senior Engineer SAP Security & Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)

Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad/Chennai/Pune/Gurugram

Experience: Typically 610+ years in SAP Security/GRC roles.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Looking for a senior SAP Security professional with strong GRC expertise, hands-on experience in access control governance, risk mitigation, and SAP security architecture across both on-premise and cloud environments. Candidate should be capable of independently driving security initiatives while collaborating with business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and support SAP Security roles, authorizations, and access controls across SAP environments.

- Manage SAP GRC Access Control modules including:

1. Access Risk Analysis (ARA)

2. Access Request Management (ARM)

3. Emergency Access Management (EAM)

4. Business Role Management (BRM)

5. User Access Reviews (UAR)

- Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis, risk remediation, and mitigation control management.

- Support audits, compliance initiatives, and governance requirements.

- Integrate and manage security across SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud platforms (SAC, BTP, IAG, BDC).

- Troubleshoot user access issues and optimize security processes.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, audit teams, developers, and infrastructure teams.

- Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strong experience in SAP Security & Authorizations.

- Hands-on expertise with SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, EAM, BRM, UAR).

- Experience with SoD analysis, risk management, and compliance controls.

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Security Design.

- Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance requirements.

- Exposure to SAP Cloud Security, including SAC, BTP, and IAG integration.

- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.

- SAP Identity Management (ADM920)

- SAP S/4HANA Authorization Concepts (ADM940)

- SAP Fiori Authorization Concepts (ADM945)

- SAP NetWeaver Security (ADM960)
