• Actively participate in data mapping workshops with functional consultants, workstream leads, and business SMEs.
• Compile and document legacy-to-SAP data conversion rules.
• Run existing migration routines to upload data and report success or error messages for mock and cutover schedules.
• Support business validation of data loads.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical consultants to analyze data migration requirements and the composition of legacy data.
• Design appropriate data migration solutions, including transformation routines when necessary.
• Utilize tools such as SAP LSMW or SAP Data Services solutions to build, test, execute, and manage data migrations.
• Perform pre-load and post-load validation of migration results, handle dropouts, and advise on data cleansing requirements.
• Conduct migration dress rehearsals, cutover tasks, and provide post-go-live support.
• Offer advisory services to the business to understand their data management issues and recommend appropriate data management strategies and techniques.
• Possess extensive experience in data management and migration activities within an SAP environment.
• Demonstrate strong experience in designing and implementing SAP's ETL solutions, such as SAP Data Services and SAP LSMW, along with integration technologies like IDOCs and BAPIs.
• Have experience using Syniti for mapping and transformation.
• Create Technical Specification documents by leveraging data migration experience and computer program knowledge for creating Data services Jobs.
• Support data cleansing activities using Information Excel, Data Services, and SQL tools.
• Have a wide range of experience across various SAP ERP functional areas, including Finance, Sales, MM, and PP.
• Experience in data analysis and reconciliation is required, with the ability to prove the correctness and completeness of migration tasks.
• Experience with cutover planning and preparing data migration runbooks is essential.
• Good consulting skills are a prerequisite, with business-facing consulting capability.
• Experience with implementing an S4/HANA multi-tiered SAP environment is preferred.
