SAP SD Consultant

Role & responsibilities

An SAP SD S/4 HANA Consultant is responsible for implementing and supporting the Sales & Distribution (SD) module within SAP S/4 HANA, focusing on Order-to-Cash processes, pricing, billing, and integration with other modules. This role requires strong functional expertise, business process knowledge, and hands-on configuration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration
• Lead or participate in full lifecycle SAP SD implementations in S/4 HANA.
• Configure core SD functionalities: sales order management, quotations, pricing, delivery, billing, credit management, and rebates.
• Support condition techniques, pricing procedures, and batch management.
• Order-to-Cash (O2C) Cycle
• Manage processes from quotations order processing deliveries shipments billing revenue recognition.
• Ensure seamless integration with FI (Finance), MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and other modules..
• Support & Troubleshooting
• Provide L2/L3 support for SD-related issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve incidents quickly.
• Assist with testing, data migration, and go-live activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• 510 years of SAP SD experience, with at least 2–3 years in S/4 HANA projects.
• Hands-on exposure to implementation, support, and upgrade projects.
