Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10–15 years of SAP experience.
• Strong expertise in procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory management. experience in S/4H Materials Management (P2P-MM)
• Hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM (Purchasing including Indirect purchasing, Inventory Management, Valuation, Invoice Verification, IDOC, MRP relevant processes, Flexible workflow).
• Experience in implementing and supporting projects. In-depth knowledge in the following areas:
• Business Process, Consumables Procurement Process, Special procurement process like SubCon Consignment. Contract, Scheduling agreement with 3rd party integration with IDOCS, Import Procurement, Source of Supply Determination, Demand Flow, STO, Automatic A/C Determination, Automatic PO Conversion, Price Management, Output Determination, Batch Management, Third Party Subcontracting, A/C Entry for Document Posting, Serialization, Consignment, Pipeline, Invoice Planning, Automatic PO Procedure, Valuation Receipt Settlement, Knowledge related to EDI Order/Delivery/Confirmation/Invoice/Material Master, Data Migration by LSMW/BDC
• Troubleshooting between SAP and third-party systems
• Define and manage interface patterns (IDocs, API/OData, EDI, Flat File, CPI/PI/PO), including error handling, monitoring and performance tuning.
• Create detailed configuration documentation, process flows, test scripts and knowledge articles.
• You should have experience writing functional specifications, coordinating with ABAP team and testing new features. Experience with SAP MM, EWM integration with third party tools is a must
• Knowledge of integration with FI, SD, WM, and Ariba/SRM.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and mentor junior consultants.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one full-cycle implementation in the automotive or manufacturing domain.
• Exposure to S/4HANA MM/P2P functionalities.
• Experience working with Japanese business processes and compliance frameworks.

Role Overview

We are seeking a SAP Certified and experienced SAP MM/P2P Solution Architect to lead implementations, rollouts, and support engagements. The role requires deep expertise in procurement and inventory management processes, strong leadership in solution design, and the ability to collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver high-quality business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP MM/P2P module implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
• Gather business requirements, design solutions, and configure SAP MM to meet client needs.
• Manage procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, contracts, and vendor management.
• Oversee inventory management, goods receipt, invoice verification, and material valuation.
• Ensure seamless integration with FI, SD, WM, and other SAP modules.
• Provide guidance on best practices, process improvements, and system optimization.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer for business users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP MM/P2P processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with ABAP developers.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese business processes, statutory, audit, and control requirements.
