SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation & Configuration:
• Lead end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Customize SAP EWM modules to support warehouse processes (inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, cross-docking, RF frameworks).
• Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, TM) and external systems (e.g., 3PL platforms, automation tools).
• Process Optimization:
• Analyze existing warehouse operations and recommend SAP EWM-driven improvements for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Design solutions for complex scenarios (e.g., labor management, yard logistics, slotting, wave planning).
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Conduct workshops to gather needs and demonstrate solution capabilities.
• Technical Support & Training:
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Develop training materials and conduct sessions for super-users and warehouse staff.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, workflows, and integration points.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GxP, OSHA) and SAP best practices.
• Project Management:
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication for SAP EWM projects.
• Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-implementation hypercare.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5-6 years of relevant SAP EWM experience out of a total of 7+ years of experience.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in embedded EWM (SAP S/4HANA) and/or decentralized EWM.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes (VAS, RFID, handling unit management) and integration with mobile devices (RF guns, SAP Fiori).
