SAP BW/4HANA Professional

Required Skills Experience

• 6+ years of SAP BW experience with strong, demonstrable hands-on SAP BW/4HANA.
• Proven Data Tiering Optimization (DTO) implementation experience at least one full end-to-end DTO design and rollout in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience with at least one (preferably more) tiering technology:
  • Warm: Native Storage Extension (NSE), Extension Nodes
  • Cold: SAP HANA Data Lake, Hadoop, cloud object storage, or external sources via Smart Data Access (SDA) / Smart Data Integration (SDI)
• Strong embedded/native HANA (eHANA) development: calculation views, SQLScript, table functions, CDS views, and HANA modeling best practices.
• Solid BW/4HANA modeling expertise: aDSO (standard, write-optimized, staging, inventory), CompositeProvider, Open ODS View, InfoObject design, and query design.
• Experience with data extraction and integration (ODP, S/4HANA / ECC extractors, SLT, ABAP CDS, flat-file and API-based sourcing).
• Strong understanding of partitioning, data temperature concepts, and HANA memory/performance management.
• Performance tuning expertise across load and reporting layers.
• Working knowledge of process chains, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
