Role Description: SAP BW Competencies: Digital : SAP BW on HANA Experience (Years): 6-8 Essential Skills: SAP BW Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop data models in SAP BW on HANA using ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and InfoObjects.

  • Develop and manage ETL processes using SAP BW DataSources, Transformations, and DTPs.

  • Perform end-to-end lifecycle implementation and support of SAP BW on HANA solutions.

  • Optimize data models and queries for high performance using HANA-specific techniques.

  • Work with SAP S/4HANA source systems and integrate data into BW via CDS Views and ODP.

  • Create and support reporting solutions using BEx Query Designer, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or Analysis for Office.

  • Collaborate with business users and functional teams to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions.

  • Monitor data loads, resolve data issues, and perform root cause analysis for system and data problems.

  • Document technical specifications, design decisions, and support procedures.

  • Participate in upgrade/migration projects to BW/4HANA (if applicable).
