A SAP BTP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) consultant for E-invoicing implementation needs to design, implement, and configure SAP DRC solutions, ensuring compliance with e-invoicing regulations, particularly in the European market. This involves analyzing business requirements, proposing solutions, and configuring SAP DRC on S/4HANA. The consultant will also be responsible for developing customized reports and integrating with external systems for e-invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design and Business Analysis:
Analyze business needs, assess SAP DRC module coverage, propose end-to-end SAP DRC solutions aligned with legal and business requirements, and provide workload estimations.
  • Implementation and Configuration:
Lead design workshops, implement and configure SAP DRC, develop country-specific customized reports, and ensure compliance with Indian e-invoicing and e-reporting regulations.
  • Integration:
Seamlessly integrate SAP DRC with SAP S/4HANA system, and potentially with external platforms for e-invoicing and e-reporting.
  • Compliance Monitoring:
Continuously monitor and update compliance requirements, ensuring the company meets all regulatory obligations.
  • Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate invoicing processes, improving accuracy and efficiency.
  • Documentation:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Strong understanding of SAP DRC, e-invoicing, and e-reporting principles.
  • Experience with SAP BTP and its integration capabilities.
  • Proficiency in configuring SAP DRC on S/4HANA and ECC systems.
  • Knowledge of European e-invoicing and e-reporting regulations.
  • Experience with external bolt-on solutions like Peppol
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data mapping and format conversion for e-invoicing.
  • Understanding of SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) and its role in e-document processing (optional).
  • Experience with XML formats and Web Services for communication with external systems (optional).
Additional Considerations:
  • E-invoicing Process:
Familiarity with the end-to-end e-invoicing process, including creation, validation, submission, and archiving, is crucial.
  • Specific Country Requirements:
Experience with country-specific e-invoicing requirements (e. g. , Belgium) is highly desirable.
  • Monitoring and Error Management:
Ability to set up a monitoring system for rapid error analysis and rectification.
  • Project Management:
Experience with project planning, test coordination, and cutover preparation is beneficial.
