Responsibilities

Consultant needs to work in multiple shifts (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) and shift swaps based on the project requirement, and must have good communication skills.
SAP Basis technical for traditional AMS services. Excellent communication skills.
Should have worked on support projects, upgrade OS/DB migration.
Must have: SAP Administration, Support packages, Printer config, BEx installation, Solution Manager.
Will need to support ECC, PI, BW, APO, GATP, BODS systems.
Good to have: Azure, cloud, Sybase and MAXDB database.
Preferred: SAP Basis certifications.
Typical years of experience: Typically requires 5+ years relevant experience.
Minimum education and certifications: Graduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience on Basis Activities

Acknowledgement / Cleaning of alert logs, cleaning/ archiving of transport logs/ import queues.
RFC Link Maintenance, System performance monitoring, Offline/ Online backups at SAP level and backing Up.
Checking and Creating CBO Statistics, Searching for Missing Indexes.
Memory Management: Page In / Pages Out, Memory Management: Ext. Memory/ Roll In/ Out etc.
Installing SAP License, Configuring the System Log, Setting Up Logon Groups.
Installing Printers, Sending System Messages, Profile Generator: Maintaining Activity Groups/ Roles.
Operation mode maintenance, Activities on SAP Net, Management of the Transport Management System (TMS).
Scheduling Jobs, Support Package/ Add-ons, System Profiles and its maintenance.
Client Maintenance, Automatic Note application through SNOTE, Printer Configuration.
Backup Scheduling thru DB13 and monitoring thru DB12, SCOT monitoring.
Searching for Missing Indexes, Monitoring the Growth of Extents, Checking Database Performance.
Extending the Database (Adding Data, Making changes in Oracle Parameters based on recommendation from L3 experts for performance optimization).
Checking and Managing CBO statistics.
