Sap Basis Consultant

Role & responsibilities

Looking for an individual with a strong SAP Basis background in HANA, ABAP, Java and GCP, RISE Migration etc.Accountabilities:

• Work as an SAP Technology SME as part of SAP Platform Operations team, applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
• Lead and perform technical hands-on projects related to SAP upgrade, implementation, Enhancements including SAP applications (ERP 6.0, S42021/2022/2023 Hana, Fiori 2.0, CRM, SCM, Portal, PO, Netweaver Portal, ADS, SLT, SideCar)
• Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning of a complex SAP production environment. Should be well versed with system copy, DB refresh, Kernel upgrade, Unix shell scripting experience. SAP process automation experience is preferred. SAP BTP transformation experience is preferred.
• Analyzes production and test system Problems, determines causes and takes timely corrective action.
• Works with the Unix/Linux/Windows Administrator on capacity planning and performance tuning of servers hosted on GCP cloud. GCP/AWS cloud experience is preferred.
• Creates and maintains accurate documentation & Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation projects.
• Provides support for HA(High availability) & DR(disaster recovery).
• Able to present and interact with business process owners at Cardinal Health
• Collaborate with SAP teams in the areas of development of new functionality or ramp-up initiative.
• Participates in the development policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
• Provide expertise related to SAP and Hana DB performance.
• Must have OS/DB migration for SAP systems. SAP RISE migration experience is preferred.
• Works on, contribute, and/or lead medium complex projects
• Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Requirements

1. Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.
2. More than 5 TO 7 years of overall SAP experience and 5+ years’ relevant experience
3. Experience administering and supporting mid to large scale SAP applications
