Should have 6 years of relevant experience in SAP BASIS.

• Good communicaon skills to handle bridge calls with clients.
• Acvely monitor systems to ensure they are tuned and running.
• Support project knowledge in handling ABAP and JAVA system as a mandatory skill. Other applicaons knowledge

on BOBJ, BODS, Cloud connector, Content server, Open Text will be added advantage.

• Knowledge on webdispatcher configuraons and troubleshoong.
• SSL and SSO configuraon. Exchange of cerficates, renewal of cerficates, building trust between two systems.
• Providing technical support for SAP systems is a crical task for basis administrators. They have to examine

technical infrastructures, including transport and printer administraon, job scheduling, designing, and

implemenng of SAP operaonal needs.

• Maintain the mulple SAP instances that comprise the SAP environment (development, test, training and

producon).

• Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correcon and Transport System (CTS) to

ensure all configuraon and development objects are promoted properly.

• Introduce technical changes into the environment using a structured approach that minimizes risk and achieves

high reliability, availability and performance of each SAP instance.

• Configure and manage the SAP prinng subsystem for all SAP instances.
• Maintain SAP performance by planning and execung SAP tuning strategies.
• Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces,

disk space.

• Handling systems outages and customer technical bridges
• Should be experienced in understanding configuraon of alerts and fine tuning of system performance based on

alert monitoring.

Roles & Responsibilies:

• You will be responsible for message processing, technical incident management, service- and change request

management as well as problem management and root cause analysis.

• You will be performing installaon, patching and upgrade acvies.
• You will be responsible for performance monitoring and tuning, backup and restore as well as recovery

procedures.

• You will ensure high availability of the systems including disaster recovery setup.
• Providing technical experse and support in opmizing System Operaon/ System Architecture.
• Support in development of concepts and tools to solve and prevent problems and to increase efficiency.
• Working in internaonal teams and driving global knowledge transfer and documentaon.
• You will conduct workshops and training courses (for customers) and ensure knowledge transfer within the team

and supervise juniors and trainees.

• Planning, setup and implementaon of technical migraon projects and improvement of product and processes,

complete your job.

• You own a degree (e.g. business informacs, computer science) or IT training or are a career changer with IT

affinity and experience.

• You have outstanding analycal skills, technical affinity and a strong customer focused soluon orientaon are

your hallmarks.
