SAP Basis Consultant - HANA | Cloud | BTP | HA/DR

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, SAP HANA, S/4HANA, cloud environments, system connectivity and HA/DR.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing SAP landscapes across on-premise and cloud/hybrid environments, with good exposure to SAP infrastructure, upgrades, performance monitoring, transport management and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor SAP landscapes including ECC, S/4HANA, HANA, BW and Solution Manager.
• Perform SAP Basis activities including system monitoring, troubleshooting, kernel upgrades, support package upgrades, SAP Notes, system refresh/copy and maintenance activities.
• Manage SAP HANA administration, performance monitoring, backup/recovery and database-related activities.
• Support SAP HA/DR environments, preferably with hands-on experience in HANA System Replication (HSR), failover and DR activities.
• Manage SAP systems across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Work with SAP BTP, Cloud Connector and SAP ECS/RISE environments.
• Manage SAP connectivity and integrations including SAP Router, RFC, Web Dispatcher and external/third-party system connectivity.
• Manage Transport Management System (TMS/STMS) and change/transport activities.
• Perform SAP system upgrades, patching and OS/DB migration activities with minimal downtime.
• Monitor and optimize SAP system performance including CPU, memory, database and application performance.
• Support SAP security activities including user/role administration, certificates, SSL/SNC and security notes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, database, network and application teams for issue resolution.
• Handle production incidents, RCA and preventive actions while meeting SLA requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on SAP Basis experience
• Strong experience in SAP ECC / S/4HANA / SAP NetWeaver
• Good hands-on experience with SAP HANA Administration
• Experience in SAP Basis upgrades, kernel upgrades, SUM, SPAM/SAINT and SNOTE
• Strong knowledge of STMS/TMS and transport management
• Experience with SAP system monitoring and production support
• Hands-on exposure to HA/DR and preferably HANA System Replication
• Experience in SAP Cloud / SAP BTP / Cloud Connector / ECS / RISE is highly preferred
• Knowledge of SAP Router, RFC, Web Dispatcher and SAP connectivity
• Good understanding of Linux/Windows server environments
• Exposure to AWS/Azure is an advantage
• Good understanding of SAP HANA and/or Oracle databases
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and communication skills

Preferred Profile

Candidates with a combination of:

SAP Basis + S/4HANA + HANA + Cloud/BTP + HA/DR + Connectivity

will be preferred.

Experience with SAP BTP, Cloud Connector, HANA System Replication, SAP Router, AWS/Azure, Solution Manager/ChaRM and production SAP landscapes will be an added advantage.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
