Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location: Hyderabad ( Candidate has to work in Faridabad for 6 months for project and then continue in Hyderabad on hybrid model)

Experience Level: 5+ Years

Job Summary:

The SAP ABAP Developer will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing SAP programs and applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP ABAP programming, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

ABAP Development: Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming language. Technical Design: Translate functional specifications into technical design documents, ensuring a clear understanding of the requirements.

Enhancements and Modifications: Implement enhancements, user exits, BADI, and other modification techniques to meet the changing business requirements.

Debugging and Troubleshooting: Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve issues and ensure smooth functionality of SAP applications. Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of ABAP programs to ensure efficient processing and system performance.

Reports and Interfaces: Develop custom reports and interfaces using ABAP, ALV, IDocs, and other related technologies.

Testing and Documentation: Conduct unit testing, support integration testing, and maintain comprehensive documentation of developments and modifications.

Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and provide effective solutions.

Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP applications, including incident management and problem resolution.

Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in ABAP programming including reports, dialog programming, forms (SAPscript, SmartForms), and enhancements.

Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP.

Experience with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, and others. Familiarity with ALE, IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.

Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.

Problem-Solving:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross functional teams.

Certifications: SAP certification in ABAP is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP HANA and S/4HANA. Knowledge of integration with third-party systems.

Understanding of SAP's development lifecycle and methodologies. Experience in agile development environments.
