Job Description
Role & responsibilities: Greet and assist walk-in customers at our Asian Footwear retail outlet in Sodhpur, understand customer footwear needs, and recommend suitable products. Handle billing, cash counter, and POS operations accurately. Maintain neat and attractive display of footwear stock on shelves. Manage stock inward/outward, inventory counts, and coordinate with the Store Manager on replenishment. Handle customer queries, exchanges, and returns as per store policy. Keep the store clean, organized, and audit-ready at all times. Meet daily/monthly sales targets set by the store management. Store timing is 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (may vary by up to 30 minutes); candidate should be available to work store hours on a rotational/shift basis.
Preferred candidate profile: 0-3 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in footwear, apparel, or fashion retail (freshers may also apply). Good communication skills in Bengali/Hindi; basic English preferred. Pleasant, customer-friendly attitude with willingness to work on the sales floor. Basic numeracy for billing and cash handling. Minimum qualification: 12th Pass.
